JOB SUMMARY

The Loader supports logistics operations by ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods. This includes loading, unloading, organizing, and maintaining inventory while adhering to safety and operational standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    LOADING & UNLOADING OPERATIONS

·        Load and unload goods from vehicles safely and efficiently

·        Ensure proper handling to prevent damage

·        Follow loading plans and instructions

2.   GOODS HANDLING & STORAGE

·        Sort, arrange, and stack goods appropriately

·        Move items to designated storage or dispatch areas

·        Assist in proper packaging and labeling

3.   INVENTORY SUPPORT

·        Verify goods against delivery documents

·        Assist in stock counts and inventory checks

·        Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages

4.   EQUIPMENT USE & MATERIAL MOVEMENTS

·        Operate basic equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys

·        Transport goods within the warehouse or loading area

5.   WORKPLACE ORGANIZATION & CLEANLINESS

·        Maintain a clean and organized work environment

·        Ensure loading bays and storage areas are orderly

6.   HEALTH, SAFETY & COMPLIANCE

·        Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

·        Use protective equipment where required

·        Report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS

·        Basic education (JHS/SHS)

·        Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items

·        Ability to follow instructions and work in a team

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

·        Accuracy and efficiency in loading/unloading

·        Reduction in damaged goods

·        Adherence to safety standards

·       Timeliness of task completion

WORKING CONDITIONS

·        Physically demanding role (lifting, standing, bending)

·        May involve outdoor work and extended hours
